We’re converting a 40-foot school bus into a home because we believe home is wherever your family is. This is what that looks like in real life.
THE WHY
Not chasing trends -- chasing convictions.
We didn’t buy a school bus because we saw it on Instagram. We bought it because we kept asking ourselves what it would look like to actually live what we believe — and the answer kept pointing somewhere uncomfortable and exciting.
01
Home is a people, not a place.
Over the past few years, we’ve learned that home isn’t a building. It’s the people in it. The bus stops us from forgetting that.
02
Intentional discomfort is a spiritual discipline.
Comfort is easy to worship without realizing it. Choosing inconvenience on purpose trains you to say no to yourself in the small things so you can say yes to God in the big ones. The bus is a daily lesson in that.
03
Faith should be visible, not just audible.
We want our children to watch us trust in God and each other — not just hear us talk about it. The bus is a classroom as much as anything else.
"
We kept asking ourselves what it would look like to live with intentionality in this season. The answer was inconvenient, uncomfortable, and scary. We’re choosing to say yes anyway.

Seats out. Starting Design.
Removed 26 seats — the bus is officially a shell. Taking measurements of the shell, we began to draw up our design for the interior.

We bought a bus.
We pulled the trigger. A 40-foot school bus is now parked in our yard. No turning back.

WHAT’S NEXT
One step at a time.
We’re not going to pretend we have this perfectly mapped out. We know our next step, and we’re doing it. Then, we’ll tackle the next one after that.

Be here from
the beginning.
This story doesn’t have an ending written yet. The best time to follow along is now — before it’s finished, before it’s polished, while it’s still becoming something.
